From the March 2001 Idaho Observer:

Janet Reno to make guest appearance at U of I

BOISE -- In a memo from the dean of the University of Idaho College of Law, U of I students, faculty and staff have been informed that former Attorney General Janet Reno has agreed to be the school's "Bellwood Lecturer" for the coming fall semester. The tentative date scheduled for Reno's legal lecture is October 2, 2001. The topic of her discussion has yet to be announced. It is hoped that she will open the floor for questions.

According to a contact at the U of I, the Bellwood Lecturers are normally distinguished legal scholars. The last Bellwood Scholar to speak at the U of I College of Law was Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia.

It is unknown at this time the size of the honorarium Reno will receive for blessing the U of I campus with her distinguished presence.
