Local implementation of the United Nations Agenda 21: a warning

by Anne Wilder-Chamberlain

For the last two months The I.O. has covered Obama’s treasonous plans to marry the United States and the United Nations into a One World Socialist Government managed by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund; forcing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child onto parents, superseding the Declaration of Independence with the UN Declaration of Human Rights, and now threatening to tax every breath American citizens take by forcing the totally unconstitutional UN Convention on Climate Change onto them with or without Senate ratification. Accordingly, the EPA declared carbon dioxide to be a toxic waste.

All of this is part of the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Agenda 21, with its broadcasted intention of reducing world population by up to 90 percent.

The “Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, and the Statement of principles for the Sustainable Management of Forests,” defines Agenda 21 as a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area where humans impact the environment. It was adopted by more than 178 Governments at the United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) held in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, in June 1992. The Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) was created in December 1992 to ensure effective follow-up of UNCED, to monitor and report on implementation of the agreements at the local, national, regional and international levels. It was agreed that a five year review of Earth Summit progress would be made in 1997 by the United Nations General Assembly meeting in special session. (www.un.org/esa/sustdev/documents/agenda21)

Also adopted by the UN in 1992 at the Earth Summit was the communitarian plan for reinventing a global government, called the UN Local Agenda 21. There were no public votes cast for or against it in any of the affected “free” nations. Average citizens were not consulted. The nations’ taxpayers were never even told about it. The major media outlets have been silent while the UN LA-21 laws have been imposed on all UN member nations, including the United States, and over 800 multi-national non-government organizations (NGO’s) were enlisted to help implement it.

According to the anti-communitarian website http://nord.twu.net/acl, the UN LA-21 is being implemented using “Neighborhood Plans.” While appearing to be guides to creating ultimate modern communities that preserve the natural beauty, character and resources in the neighborhoods while embracing sound environmental values, in reality these plans serve a more sinister purpose. Based on the communitarian land management program, they support the theory of creating a new system of law that eliminates our fundamental constitutional rights, including:

  1. 1. The First Amendment Right to petition for a redress of grievances;
  2. 2. The Fourth Amendment Right to protection from unlawful search and seizure;
  3. 3. The Fifth Amendment Right to due process under the law; and
  4. 4. In Washington State, its State Constitution Article One, Section One, PURPOSE OF GOVERNMENT, which is “... to protect and maintain individual rights.”
The “Programme for Further Implementation of Agenda 21 and the Commitments to the Rio Principles” were reaffirmed at the World Summit on Sustainable Development (WSSD) held in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2002.

Agenda 21 proponents are currently in Copenhagen, having arrived in personal jets and escorted in limousines. Al Gore, who claims man’s abuse of CO2 will result in the death of the planet by 2050, justifies this excessive use of carbon fuels by stating, “I buy carbon offsets.”
