From the October 2004 Idaho Observer: Americans prepare to elect a new president
Evidence suggests we should be preparing indictments instead 9/11 truth movement researchers no longer claim the Bush administration had "prior knowledge" of attacks on the Twin Towers in New York and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C; they claim the events of that tragic day were planned, ordered and implemented by high-ranking members of the Bush White House. Successful attorney and Beltway insider Stanley Hilton has filed a $7 billion class-action lawsuit against several members of the Bush administration on behalf of 400 families who lost loved ones when the World Trade Center collapsed. "We are suing Bush, Condoleeza Rice, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Mueller, etc., for complicity in personally not only allowing 9/11 to happen but in ordering it," said Hilton in a Sept. 10, 2004 interview with Alex Jones. Dozens of key people who would have insight into what happened on 9/11 have been deposed. Hilton believes that the hijackers were double agents working for the U.S. and that evidence in his possession—documents and witnesses—prove that "this was a direct, covert operation ordered....by George W. Bush." Hilton claims that the exact scenario of 9/11 had been practiced during some 35 drills within two months of that fateful day—and that five such drills had taken place Sept. 11, 2001. Hilton believes he can prove that NORAD and the air force stood down that day thinking it was a drill. He also believes that, when Andrew Card whispered in President Bush’s ear that the first tower had been hit, he just kept reading to the children because he thought it was part of another drill. If Hilton is correct, then it would seem that the sitting president and his administration should be preparing a legal defense—not campaigning to be in the White House for another four years.
