National, International interest in 9/11 truth increasing with each passing day

Late last March,Charlie Sheen stated his belief on the Alex Jones radio show that the evidence revealed by independent analysis of 9/11 anomalies is more convincing than the government story. In response, CNN took a poll in which 84 percent of a seemingly representative demographic of Americans indicated their belief that the Bush administration is participating in a cover-up of what really happened that day. We see it everywhere now—Americans are realizing the deaths and misery caused by the executive decision by the Bush administration to declare a global war on terror was justified with lies. Worse, if 9/11 was, indeed, an inside job, then Bush administration officials are the terrorists—a fact that is now well-known by the rest of the world. Now think about this: The official story is so phenomenally implausible that either its architects are incompetents, they have no respect for our collective intelligence or....they wanted us to figure it out—on their terms. Regardless, it is our duty to seek the truth in all things and, if our paths be righteous, we will be rewarded in our efforts. The 9/11 movement is growing. Be part of it.

Venezuela to launch official international 9/11 investigation?

9/11 truth philanthropist Jimmy Walter and WTC survivor William Rodriguez took a trip to Venezuela to discuss with President Hugo Chavez the possibility of his country sponsoring an official investigation into 9/11. There are no further details since the March 31, 2006 announcement, but legislative assembly President Nicolas Maduro commented that he was ready to create an international investigation committee looking into the "international crime scene" that is 9/11 and that this investigation would be a creature of the Venezuelan government.

June 2-4 event lining up to be the biggest 9/11 truth event to date

CHICAGO—9/11truth.org-Chicago and the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for 9/11 Truth are sponsoring the largest 9/11 truth conference yet to convene. The event, "9/11: Revealing the Truth, Reclaiming Our Future: An International Education and Strategy Conference," is taking on international proportions. Among the 9/11 truth researchers and activists who have accepted invitations to speak are BYU Physics professor Steven E. Jones, author Webster Tarpley, Peter Phillips of Project Censored, Canadian activist Ian Woods of Global Outlook magazine, researcher Jim Hoffman, scientist Kevin Ryan, Dr. Faiz Khan, author Jim Marrs, Canadian media critic Barrie Zwicker, Scholars for 9/11 Truth co-founder Jim Fetzer, Ralph Schoenman, California 9/11 truth congressional candidate Carol Brouillet and Charles Key and Chris Emery of the Oklahoma City Bombing Investigation Committee. Media coverage is planned by INN World Report, KPFA Berkeley, KPFK of Los Angeles, and many others. Many more important luminaries, authors, researchers, organizers and media activists can be expected, including 9/11 survivor and rescue hero William Rodriguez.

This gathering has been taking shape since last fall with the help of a diverse group of grassroots activists.
