My New Year’s RESOLUTION

In the generations before mine, (1928) Men of Courage, Character, and Conviction, fought and died to form The Republic of the United States for self-government by "We the People." Since that time, whenever called upon to do so, Americans have volunteered to make the Supreme Sacrifice to free the peoples of the World from TYRANNY so that they might follow our lead and establish their own system of government with "freedom and justice for all!"

Sadly, for the last 50-years or so, my generation has. . . "allowed" . . . The Framer’s Pledge; [t]o form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity…" to become a Monument of hypocrisy for the rest of the world to jeer and snicker at.

Whether or not future generations will be able, or even have the desire, to re-establish the sanctity of "justice for all," remains to be seen. For My part in this tragedy of events, I’ve done precious little to further the maintenance of self-governing or to bring about the demise of those elected and appointed public officials who would preach fear instead of Courage, promote pain for profit instead of Compassion for understanding, and applaud destruction instead of Construction…all in the form of an arrogant declaration accompanied with the "force" to prove that OUR WAY is the ONLY WAY and ALL Nations of People on this planet are "either with us or ‘agin’ us!"

The "People’s" federal courts are CLOSED to "We the People" and serve ONLY to "justify" the "JUST-US" department.

Suffice it to say, the genius of the Framers’ "separation of powers" designed as checks and balances between the legislative, executive and judicial branches, has now been welded together in a menage a trios of despotic Aristocracy and TYRANNY!

We have found the terrorists...THEY are our servants!

The reincarnation of Hitler’s dreaded 1939 GESTAPO as a replacement for the people’s police at the Justice Department now has as it’s Chief Executive Officer (Attorney General) ALBERTO GONZALEZ, who hasn’t the foggiest notion about America’s tradition and proud heritage for "fundamental fairness."

GONZALEZ, serving as White House Counsel to DUBYA and as the "go-to guy" for coffee and donuts, authorized, the infamous "MEMORANDUM OF TORTURE" for federal prisoners to "make ‘em talk" and is the architect for crafting the language for the "me-too" 109^th Congress to abolish the "great writ of freedom," otherwise known as the "writ of habeas corpus"—which has been recognized as the "bulwark of freedom" by civilized people and the civilized nations of the world ever since the barony rode horseback into the king’s courtyard with swords drawn and "forced" KING JOHN to sign the Magna Carta in 1215!

The old adage that "it ain’t over ‘til the fat lady sings" may be more of a truism here than myth. Whether or not you ever heard of Kate Smith doesn’t really matter. What matters is that Kate’s rendition of "God Bless America" could bring a tear to the eye of a steel-worker and unite, if only for a couple minutes, ALL Americans—regardless of race, creed, or political division and, there was no denying it…Kate Smith was one fat lady!

History records Kate Smith’s death as being in 1986, but history has yet to record the death of this Republic "WE" affectionately refer to as America.

That is NOT to imply that this Republic still lives... it ONLY means that the historians who record such matters for posterity have not yet finished the autopsy!

You are reading this epistle, leading up to my New Year’s Resolution because you have, in some way, been made aware of or have encouraged my efforts to end the federal government’s lawless and ruinous "war on drugs."

The manner by which the federal government has conducted its "drug war"…for the last 36-years... is the most outrageous and repugnant fraud ever conducted by ANY Government against it’s own people in the history of the world-exceeding even the FRAUD of the IRAQI WAR in duration, economic costs, and destroyed lives.

Regardless of the futility to seek justice in the courts, my resolution to continue is a "no brainer" for me. It is "good medicine" for this old man to stay a step ahead of the GRIM REAPER and an aphrodisiac to "dream" about what might have been, or still could be.

Note: I have reviewed hundreds of pages of Olson’s material and am absolutely certain his claim there is no legal or lawful basis for the federal government’s war on drugs is accurate. Olson has spent years building toward the day he could place the essence of his arguments squarely before a court of competent jurisdiction. Amazingly, the entire issue of the drug war comes down to getting the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to answer one simple question.

So, Olson has a different plan. If you are experienced with legal process and are currently serving a sentence pursuant to a federal drug violation USC Section 841(a)(1), contact The IO. We need about eight good men to become familiar with Olson’s argument to the point they are comfortable filing model/mirror writs of habeas corpus with the U.S. Supreme Court justices. Please, only serious students of legal process should consider this move. (DWH)
