From the October 2007 Idaho Observer:
Constitutional Order New World Order: Godless corporations run governments that regulate people and exploit resources In a looking glass, the NWO appears upside down Upon typing "police state" or "police riot squads" into an Internet image search engine one gets the impression that police from all over the world—Europe, Asia, Africa, South America and North America—are dressed by the same military apparel suppliers and are trained by the same crowd control trainers. They are masked or helmeted, heavily armed and dressed in black. They are present wherever the global corporate elite meet to plan our futures and are prepared to use deadly force when large crowds of angry people come out in protest. The elites, captains of industry and heads of state, publicly proclaim their interest in free trade, safe working conditions, healthy environments, peace, prosperity and justice for all. But they are forced to meet in secure locations behind walls of anonymous, unaccountable men in black who commonly defend the self-stated benevolence of the elites with rubber (or real) bullets, tear gas, truncheons and hypersonic crowd dispersal techniques. It would seem that, if the elites' publicly-proclaimed intentions were truly good for the people, their meetings would prompt popular support, not globally popular opposition. Even if their intentions were publicly stated as bad for the people and bad for the environment, how difficult would it be for these people to meet in private and avoid the image-damaging spectacle of violence and protest? The truth is that globalization, which is ruthless, fascist exploitation, is intentionally married in our minds to the threat of violence. The message is, "Accept whatever we choose to give you, or faceless men in black will hurt you." Ultimately, we are supposed to believe that our choice is comply or die.
Corporate media reports of police brutality on the rise When the laws of a land do not protect its people, then they were enacted and are being enforced to protect the state. The enforcers of state-friendly laws are becoming militarized and unaccountable for the pain and suffering of the people they once swore and oath to protect and serve. In America today, we are almost daily being shown new images of police brutality via corporate media sources. Anything is liable to trigger police—from ANYTOWN, USA—to use excessive (even deadly) force. Offending officers are seldom punished beyond a reprimand even if their brutality was ruled "unjustified" upon investigation. The reports are giving TV watching Americans the impression that, at any time, at any place in America and for any reason, the police may arrest us without cause, beat us up without provocation, hit us with a taser though we are not resisting, accidentally kill us or murder us in cold blood—and there is nothing we can do about it. See page 12 for evidence that the police state has arrived. See the face of police state terror on pages 13 and 14. "There are only two choices: A police state in which all dissent is suppressed or rigidly controlled or a society where law is responsive to human needs. If society is to be responsive to human needs, a vast restructuring of our laws is essential." ~U.S. Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas (1898-1980)
